I never used Twitter. I’m not really sure what I should be posting here. In absence of this experience, I will just post what’s on my mind currently. Amazon’s 5 day RTO is going to force me out of the company, and I’m now going through a real job search for the first time in my life. It’s hard.

Hi love! 6 year Recruiter, now Career Coach and Resume Writer (just joined this app too lol). 1st off: Feel the feelings. This is absolutely scary, the markets a mess but it is possible to get a job it’s just going to be different this time around. 2nd (if you haven’t) go ahead update your resume

Skills, experience, education. No ones reading anything else but that-Github hyperlink if you want to. And then apply to jobs that aren’t only on LinkedIn/indeed etc. Lots of startups out there who will definitely need you. And the biggest thing above all: you HAVE to network.

Clients of mine who don’t network end up taking double the time to find a job vs the ones who do. LinkedIn groups/linkedin events, friends/family, old colleagues ask every1. It’s nerve racking at 1st but you’ve got to put yourself out there. You got this though & give yourself grace hun!🌸
