I'm not sure we have a more explicit example of an artist who said "hey, if you give me any money I will definitely go hurt this small group of people with it, so.... money please??" Some situations have nuance. She smashed all nuance with a sledgehammer years ago.

You could argue the black mold in her home consumed her. I argue it was her home showing what was in her heart, all these problems were right there in the text day one.

I know, and I wasn’t trying to say the books are the issue. I mean “this is who she really is” and it can be seen in her books. Sorry if that was badly phrased.

I get it and I agree. But I don't like how much conversation today has been about "well they were always bad books" as if what we should do now would be different if they were good books. She is so far past that, you know?

Oh yeah. I get that. I have voiced my inability to get past the fat phobia another thread, but to add context I had been trying to read them because my (now) ex loved them so much. I just decided to say they weren’t my thing and not poo-poo on her love of them. That was long before now though.
