not practically speaking, no. they don't have to pay us royalties until our entire contract is earned out because we have joint accounting. but we still like it when people read the books! :)

Alas, no! But it's fine! Get them from a library or buy them, Tor paid us up front so we got money, we just won't see any more for a long time or maybe ever. lol But when people buy them, it gets us closer to that eventual day!

Nah. I mean I have strong feelings that publishers should not be pressuring folks to sign joint accounting contracts, but I did sign it and that is not a Tor thing, that is just... sadly, increasingly, an industry standard thing.
