I respectfully disagree. IMO this is NOT an inherent aspect of programming IF you: 1) setup your environments to closely mirror production & have production-like data, etc in lower environments (apples to apples) 2) make sure your tests actually measure what matters It makes a world of difference🧘🏻‍♀️

I've been doing this for a while now and still question everything when my tests pass the first time. Even more disheartened when I make a code change and no tests fail
