$45 BILLION friggin dollars for migrant detention faciilty BEDS while cutting MEDICAID which funds nursing home BEDS for persons who cannot afford private care or who don't have the long term care plans members of Congress can have. This is INSANITY!

The violence he's talking about is called, "Structural Violence," is well known as profiled in Dr. Paul Farmer's "Pathologies of Power: Health, Human Rights, and The War on the Poor" (2005, UC Press) and is a widely hailed ethnography by a well-respected anthropologist. Yes, it's a moral outrage.
