I don’t think a raid qualifies as part of an “investigation”. At that point they were supposed to have solid evidence (or beyond a reasonable doubt that evidence exists) and get a warrant from a judge. That’s how the law is SUPPOSED to work when there’s no Trumpian fascism, that is.

Translation Federal agents illegally searched a sitting US House of Representative's home. There's no way they had legit probable cause to get a valid search warrant from a federal judge. This is just another last ditch effort by Trump to interfere and sway the upcoming elections. Trump virulent trashing of Omar will negate any legal validity to this vindictive action. This is not a dictatorship and Trump must be held liable for his interference with the Justice Dept.
