Lots of folks asking me who I’d like to vote for in 2028 and my answer reminds the same: it’s AOC. But I’ll vote for whichever Dem the primary voters choose as their candidate.

I just don't want to promise my vote early because I am then incentivising the party to ignore my opinions from then on. If they have my support they should focus on courting voters who might oppose them, which is probably why they act the way they do.

What we need to talk about is who we’re going to replace Hakeem Jeffries as SOH with. If we manage to take a strong majority on both houses of Congress next Fall, then day one business is Impeachment of both Trump and Vance. I believe that leaves the SOH as President for 2 years

1. I’m allowed to talk about what I want to talk about 2. You can’t impeach Trump and Vance at the same time. And the remaining one will appoint a GOP VP 3. You’ll never get the senate to remove him if it installs a Dem president

Oh, I didn’t mean to discredit or attack what you were talking about, I apologize if it came off that way 🙏 I was unaware we can’t impeach both together, which sucks given that it’s safe to assume Vance is complicit in every impeachable offense Trump is guilty of 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for clearing that up 👍

Nope. She has improved but still a little shallow and unproven. Given size of his economy go for Gavin. Or Pete given his mili career but being gay? Let’s just get MAGA out and then build forward and let some others join the lead. Also I think Crocket has way more gravitas. But maybe too black.

Sadly, we are a patriarchy. We are one of the only nations in western society that hasn’t had a Female President or Prime Minister. I’ll vote for whoever gets us into office.

I agree. I don’t care how sharp you are at that age, I want an age limit set at 70. These people in office now that are older than Moses need to retire. We need younger people with great ideas and gets things done.

We've already had two very qualified women, and they lost to the worst candidate in the world. Do you really want to play the three-strike rule? There are just some men (and women) in America that won't vote for a female for President....

Call me crazy……………..but one ticket I see that would unite the country and get it back on track, is a Kelly/Cheney ticket. I disagree with 90% of Cheneys stances/beliefs, but right now, it’s the common 10% we are all fighting for right now….

AOC is not ready yet. its better to encourage her to keep improving and growing what political capital she has at her young age than to burn it before she‘s ready for the big league. Even from the perspective of her fans, that should be better for both her and the country.

AOC is a fantastic fighter in Congress or the Senate. But, her campaign will be all about defending herself to convince those who have known her name for years that she is not what they were told. We need a campaign winner in 28. Someone who will win in states where AOC will struggle.

For sure. I just want a primary where all candidates are aligned in key areas. Let the primary be about ideas, and let the voters decide. I just think or fear that many voters have already decided on AOC.

I love AOC and would eagerly vote for her. But Dems could nominate an Inanimate Carbon Rod and it'd still be my pick over whichever piece of crap the GOP chooses.

I said “Who?” & had to Google that guy. (I’m across the country in Washington and, of course, I know who my 2 senators are, but I can name only one of the senators of the states touching mine). We’re just two years & change out from the presidential election & only AOC and Newsom have (1/2)

… nationwide name recognition and cumulative momentum. And, while years ago, I pushed for Newsom to be president, the bloom is long off that rose and AOC is now the biggest hope for the future of the Democratic Party (2/2)

Louder for those in the back: "PRIMARY VOTERS CHOOSE" Remember 2008, everyone assumed it would be Clinton, but Obama convinced the voters.

I’m a white male, straight, older, and she would be my first choice too. Smart and bold. How about Ted lieu as a VP running mate? I think those two would kick some ass in the Epstein class

Yea I’m all in on AOC for sure. I’ll obviously vote for the Dem in the general but won’t vote for any man in any primary until a woman is elected president. It’s so long overdue.

Yup. Anyone you want in the primary. Blue no matter who in the general. Sadly, too many leftists are dead set on screwing us all again if a certain person makes the general.

AOC is young. She has plenty of time to be President. She could start as Vice President. If she can’t do that I’d prefer her to become a Senator first. Schumer is up in 2028, and Gillibrand in 2030. It’s all moot if we don’t get rid of the current occupant in the White House.
