The market for cheap and "good enough" chocolate is more lucrative than the market for fair trade chocolate. How often does the average person buy a cheap Snickers versus a more expensive and better tasting one?

...okay so im used to having to consider that i am "Hella Privileged Yo 🔥🔥🔥💯™" but this is the intellectual equivalent of getting hit with a Festivized Strange Unusual Hale's Own Killstreak Golden Frying Pan right to the nutsack. ...is there a list of fair trade chocolate?😅

It's not blame. They *should* get a fair price. The blame is that some corporations chose to use worse products instead of paying the fair price - in NZ we have a locally made brand that chose to pay more and are widely regarded as the best non-luxury chocolate, I almost never buy Cadbury etc.

American chocolate tastes like sick. Smells like sick. You couldn’t get the milk out in time before it went off and as a result you all got used to shitty rancid milk chocolate. It was so awful that you decided to put helmets on when you played Rugby so that no one could force any chocolate down.
