Congrats and thanks for sharing Natali! I had missed this somehow. I had another question, is the volunteering for the new maintainer summit different from how we've been doing the KCS till now? Is there a place where we can sign ourselves up?

heya sreeram! it'll be a little different in that there will be fewer responsibilities, but myself and mario will co-ordinate in the k8s slack soon with folks interested in helping out — recruiting a program committee for the CFP will happen very soon

For maintainer track submissions in the past, TAG leads had to coordinate to submit one proposal on behalf of the TAG. Is this still true? Or for example, could I submit one proposal and another one of my TAG co-chairs could submit one, too?

while coordination is still required for kubecon/cloudnativecon's maintainer track, the maintainer summit is accepting submissions via several tracks, and isn't limited to TAGs/SIGs submitting single talks — k8s will have its own track, with CI/CD, growing contributors, and an open track available
