Normally, I spend a lot of time practicing my talks until I find the narrative flow. I've been struggling to do that for my next talk, so I started drawing things for my slides. I thought it was productive procrastination. ...then last night the whole narrative just popped into my head.

I think this is a perfect example of deep work and the magical impact it can have on allowing your brain to wander during drawing allowed it to coalesce all the ideas and “discover” a good structure
