Math professor here. Jokes and relyricized songs kept my class alert. A binomial is a nomial that swings both ways Know your limits. Don't drink and derive. Humor is an integral part of calculus Calculus is easy, comedy is hard. *Once a student complained to the chairperson that I was too funny.

during a undergraduate seminar Tom Eisner casually mentioned that the y-axis numbers were all in German, so we probably couldn't read them. The entire class was silent, but I choked laughing.
