SW friends, OnlyFans and Fansly profile links should work now! Refresh or force-quit and reopen your app a couple times so you get the update
some folks reported not being able to use certain adult-focused platforms (like onlyfans and fansly) — there was an internal miscommunication and these were accidentally added to the list of disallowed domains. this is now fixed! but you may need to refresh your app to get the update. 💙
The DOJ only barely managed to pull their penis out of the toaster in that hearing. Stanley Woodward had grabbed it and shoved it right back in.
TONIGHT: DOJ moves for Judge Reyes to disqualify in the East Potomac Golf Course case. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us... Only Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward is on the motion. Reyes ordered a response to be filed by the plaintiffs on Sunday.
Most of us know that Marbury v Madison "established judicial review" and stuff. But what if I told you that a lame duck President colluded with the Senate to appoint loads of judges after he left, and the Supreme Court discovered judicial review mostly to ignore that? The full story is worth it.
Marbury v. Madison started off as a petty workplace drama, but led to landmark Supreme Court cases like Brown v. Board of Education and Obergefell v. Hodges. In the latest episode of our new podcast, Let the Record Show, our hosts @iammrbeat.bsky.social and Shereen give us all the juicy gossip.
The excellent @mbarinews.bsky.social has documented this little guy very well. I'm especially fond of the description "A pancake that shape-shifts into an umbrella" www.montereybayaquarium.org/animals-the-...

Louisiana demands that the Supreme Court reinstate Prigg v Pennsylvania immediately.
Here is the states' request for SCOTUS to take this case as a trial court and consider the constitutionality of telehealth shield laws that allow clinicians to prescribe abortion pills across state lines. There are nearly 15,000 shield law abortions a month storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

As an overseas voter, I was very surprised when I did not receive my general election ballot as required under the law. youtu.be/xOERrcNXfZA
The DOJ more or less admits that they were being willingly blind to the fact that the final order dissolved the stay, which is all the 1st Circuit clarified.
Here is the application: www.documentcloud.org/documents/28... In the filing, DOJ complains that it has been "forced" to keep coming back to SCOTUS for relief—telling on itself a bit, I'd say—and about the First Circuit acting quickly—when the First Circuit was addressing DHS acting quickly.
When you're begging for help because your penis is on fire, and the administration runs up carrying a mallet.
(Politico ) - The Trump administration is preparing a plan to ban exports of diesel for 90 days, despite splits inside the administration and with the oil industry, in a bid to bring down energy prices .. @politico.com #ExportBan ⛽️ www.politico.com/news/2026/09...
Not me, but I have decreed that the pulsar in the Crab Nebula is officially renamed in honor of my father, Patrick.
With all this bullshit news about President Trump renaming things after himself, I’m curious- what’s something you’ve always wanted to be named after yourself? For me, it’s a parasite that gives dolphins GI distress. I’d love for those blubbery jerks to go “oh no, I’ve got the Shiffmans again!”

"This is not your grandparents' Democratic Party" he says, literally using rhetoric from the 30's. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franksg...
RNC Chair Joe Gruters: "This is not your grandparents' Democrat Party. They want to get rid of Thanksgiving. They want to get rid of July 4."
In which the 8th Circuit just declares that they're going to ignore the Missouri Supreme Court's rulings and expect them to adopt this one instead. The absolute arrogance.
The Eighth Circuit has ordered the district court to reinstate Missouri’s 2025 congressional map. But before folks freak out, it also ordered that court to pause such a ruling for long enough that the challengers can (and will) seek further review from #SCOTUS: s3.documentcloud.org/documents/28...
Important to remember: patient info was already protected thanks to the efforts of groups like the ACLU. These hospitals did not settle to protect anyone. They did it because they wanted to, and everyone (including state prosecutors) should treat it as such.
Because of our lawsuit, no patient records from NYU or Mt. Sinai have been disclosed to the DOJ as part of these settlements — and that block remains in full effect. It’s beyond shameful that the Trump administration has strong-armed these hospitals into a deal that betrays New York families.
The 5th amendment is what protects defendants from accidentally undermining themselves in compelled testimony. But his decision to waive that protection means the jury absolutely does get to consider his description of the rapes as "a good workout." We'll see how that goes.
Clancy: "He was frustrated by all the lies. He was frustrated by all the accusations. He was frustrated by the government's questioning of him." He says Uribe gave "a horrible answer. But nothing that you can consider." "You can't consider that he said something so crass."
UPDATE: the jury seemed to disagree with him. What a surprise. bsky.app/profile/jons...
Uribe is guilty on all counts.
Attention normies: did you really believe that the attacks on trans healthcare were going to begin and end with them? Welcome to the world where the doors for politicized healthcare have already been swung open.

The Missouri Supreme Court and federal court have effectively banned Missouri from using *any* maps for the upcoming election. This overview won't make sense of that (honestly, nobody can say this point), but it will explain why SoS Hoskins is responsible for breaking literally everything.
BREAKING: Dueling rulings cause chaos over Missouri maps. By Tuesday night, Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins faced an order from the Missouri Supreme Court to show cause why he should not be held in contempt. New, at Law Dork:
And let us not forget everybody's favorite wasp: the tarantula hawk.
The Hoff Crab is neither a crab nor is it David Hasselhoff. It is a Yeti Crab, which is neither a Yeti nor a Crab but a sub-group of Squat Lobsters, which are not lobsters, they're Anomurans, like Mole Crabs, which are neither moles, nor crabs.

Late last week, the HHS released a report claiming to show a link between "transgender ideology" and political violence. Among other bizarre features of this unpublished, non-peer reviewed paper it included a grand total of 13 transgender people. assignedmedia.org/breaking-new...
We have a spacecraft orbiting *Jupiter* because solar panels got so good that they can work in the outer solar system. And there's a space station orbiting the planet for longer than your kids have been alive that's running entirely on solar.
"What a disaster these are, especially considering the oil and gas we have in Texas."
I strongly recommend reading the opinion before calling this a travesty. The haircut on these damages is nothing compared to the Connecticut award, and the stuff the appeals court confirmed is actually really devastating to him.

Temu Ernie and Dollar Tree Bert have very strong opinions. Or something.
Tucker Carlson: "Putin, on the spectrum of Russian politics, is firmly on the moderate side." Glenn Greenwald: "Yes." Tucker: "And Pro-European, and his early career was in Europe, in East Germany as a KGB officer, famously speaks German."
