Just watched a session where the speaker tore apart an entire industry, their motivations, etc… but offered no value, no way forward, no suggestions for getting better. IMHO, an absolute waste of time. Don’t be the ass with hot takes about problems unless you have some thoughts on how to fix it

This is one of the first lessons I learned as an engineering manager. Complaints aren’t worthless; but they are worth less than coming with ideas
