Please distinguish between Starlink and Starshield. Starlink is commercially available. StarShield is strictly for Ukrainian mil. That makes it easy to screw w Ukrainian mil and not everyone else. Musk/Trump definitely degraded the performance of Starshield thus killing Ukrainians.

Musk's own 2022 Crimea cutoff already showed the problem: one private owner's kill switch over a battlefield. Ukraine can't run front-line comms off a billionaire's mood, and the fix is redundancy, not a better relationship with Mar-a-Lago.
