This era is getting even more fun than before. Great engineering is happening more than ever in the right places.

Of course, the opposite is true too. And all of us are getting used to the tools, learning how to prevent slop grenades, etc., but I’m more optimistic about the future than anytime soon far in 2026.

I’ve stewed in the “what is gonna happen” dread pot countless times this year. It simply isn’t worth doing. If you can, work on great things. It’s a golden era for it.
