I'm proud of where DDS is going :) Two days ago, we held our first DDS plenary open call. youtu.be/udoK32qOc7Q

The idea first started taking shape when @pujaohlhaver.bsky.social proposed to create a "decentralized deliberation standard" during a call with @yutingjiang.com. After that I took two weeks to launch dds.xyz. Almost immediately, it attracted a lot of attention from many communities.
Then, it kept evolving through every conversation that followed @daviddao.org, Eugene Leventhal, and @theobtl.eurosky.social helped shape my thinking through the Web3 gov/acc initiative and community, particularly during EthCC in Cannes this year.
@metagov.bsky.social internal DataMesh working group, facilitated by Lee, brought another community and perspective into the discussion, particularly focused on Ontology.
I initially met Stuart Lynn through Voxit. As CTOs of our respective companies, we share a pragmatic focus on "getting things done," which has helped move the idea forward.

At @zhgnv.com's CIBC, I met Simone Vagnoni, who helped push DDS toward becoming protocol-agnostic and forming a W3C Community Group.
Discussions with bengo.is and Adam Lake reinforced something important for the standardization effort in deliberation to potentially become ubiquitous: protocol agnosticism.
In @patcon.bsky.social's polislike group, he encouraged me to better understand how standards are developed collaboratively. That changed how I approached DDS.
A special thank you to @takerufukushima.bsky.social, one of DDS's earliest and most enthusiastic supporters, for turning that enthusiasm into action by contributing a PR :)
