@nicr.dev, do you have other social accounts attached to your GitHub profile? I just looked at the code and that button turns into a dropdown of accounts if you have more than one attached! That being said, it looks like it defaults to Twitter if you have no accounts attached. I'll ask about that.

We should have more generic user intent support. Like mailto: but microblog: And you decides what receives it in your browser.

That's what we have Web Share API for, but most don't use it 😭

I mean not like mailto, but you don't want it to be either because one person can have several social apps.

This has finally been fixed! It was a bug, and now you can share across all the things!
