Air fryer bacon over parchment paper, bacon grease (COOLED!) into mason jar, then use that for frying potatoes.

every time (twice) i have done bacon in air fryer it has set off my smoke alarm so i don't do it anymore

Understandable. Sometimes I forget to put the batteries back into the smoke alarm after I char the outside of a steak. We all make trade offs.
