Russian theatre. Russian troops shot down their own Eleron-3 drone, painted a 🇺🇦 flag on it to claim rewards instead of punishment—then added a Balkenkreuz (a WWII German military symbol) for extra effect. Their mistake? Leaving Russian-language markings on the wing. Classic.

Russians are basically constantly pretending they are being invaded by by (Nazi-)Germany, while Germany is constantly criticised by western countries for not supplying enough weapons to Ukraine. Funny how that works.

As only a bicolor flag, I realize it can be interpreted both ways, but the Ukrainian flag is also upside down the way it's hanging. I'm not sure if there's a "standard" direction it should be facing or if they just slapped some yellow and blue there and called it good.

The German cross is even more hilarious since everyone can check what markings Ukrainian drones, equipment etc. use, and this ain’t it. Then again, this kind of lowest common denominator bullshit works fine on MAGA, I’m sure it works well on russians too..

Reminds me of that "raid" where they "uncovered" a "sleeper ukrainian nazi cell" with swastikas and all and their boss told them to also plant 4 SIMs and the bozos interpreted that as plant "Sims 4" game CD. Big brain vibes.
