Footage shows Ukrainian F7 Litavr interceptor drones from F-Drones being launched from a Mi-8 helicopter. The interceptor can reach speeds of up to 350 km/h and is designed to destroy reconnaissance, loitering and Shahed-type drones. #Ukraine

We’ve officially reached the "Carrier Pigeon 2.0" era of warfare, except the pigeon is a carbon-fiber missile and the coop is a Mi-8. The latency between "seeing it" and "hitting it" is shrinking faster than my patience for legacy software.

Helicopter launch gets the interceptor above the Shaheds instead of chasing them from the ground, and 12 per Mi-8 turns one airframe into a battery. The West keeps promising to build a cheap mass anti-drone layer.
