also while im here: suck my ass about "parent rights". that shit never means "choose to restrict a child's screen time after 9pm". it always means "the parents rights to exercise sexual control over their minor offspring"

Yup! Because things that are actually good for the kids aren’t “parents’ rights,” they’re just plain ol’ parental decision-making. We didn’t need a new term for that.
