hi @contentedintrovert.bsky.social ! lichen.page is a tool for making websites, somewhat like wordpress, but more minimal its mostly aimed at people who already have some experience with html, or want to learn about it. once a site is styled, you can edit page content like a google doc

cms on atproto is a genuinely interesting angle. most atproto experiments have been social-layer stuff. using it for content management is different. what does the publishing flow look like?

i was trying to test it out, do you need to have an account hosted on your PDS to log in? i get a 400 trying to use my handle :-/

@goose.art thank you for letting me know! there was a bug with oauth with custom dns handles that I hadn't seen as my own user doesnt have one i believe it is fixed now if you want to try again (~at least works on my machine with custom handle now)

the site also includes an article about the project, permacomputing, p2p, malleable software, collaboration, and various other things on my mind lichen.page/green-paper....

the pixel artwork was created by www.instagram.com/frsw_franz/ this is also the second atproto project released this week named after lichen ~ lichen.wiki also looks very nice

also currently there is a 5mb limit for sites hosted on the server I am running. if you would like more mb feel free to send a message (or run your own instance)
