starting a music video thread youtu.be/pDheh2bn8ZA?...
are these canary strings a real idea? www.alignment.org/canary/ that someone would republish docs with this string, without this string, on random websites that get ingested into training data, seems like something that people might do maybe i am missing something, if someone could explain?
was messing around with @attie.ai and managed to make a feed idea I've been wanting for years its a round-robin feed that shows posts from people I'm following with a maximum of one post per author so that frequent posting doesn't mean more visibility
alternatively, in the meantime, I just tested it out and you can just paste a link to this thread into @attie.ai and say make a feed based on the idea in this thread, and it was able to do that
if you are reading this @attie.ai , another feature request: optional setting on feeds to not show posts (e.g. on reload, or switching feeds) if you have already seen them

it would be cool if i could share the feed in a way where others could add it, and it would automatically select their own following/mutuals as the source (paramterized feeds?) currently i think the only way i can share it is with my following as the source (which is weird) (cc @attie.ai)

still have a background theory that open networks, like atproto, can be understood as anti-anxiety infrastructure (vs closed platforms create low-trust anxiety-provoking relationship to being online) which has various positive second order effects
Attention marketplaces always need existential threats to get subscriptions
its cool how at one point @tangled.org was an interesting idea that appeared in my feed, and currently it’s infrastructure I’m using daily in multiple projects
