The Nazi and the brownshirts of DOGE have developed a full proof way of ensuring that the only employees who remain working for the government are those who were unable to get jobs in the private sector when they were abruptly fired then later begged to return.

The biggest flaw in the #Trusk plan is that they think that the people they fire don't have other opportunities. They all do--and they are going to leave and never come back into government service. Everyone loses except the people who leave, they probably are going to make more money as a result.

I sure as heck wouldn't go back to the CDC if i were her. I left my job writing code for the military, and went into private industry as well. Not worth the headache.

This is the obvious result, the best and the brightest will quickly find new jobs when fired. The rest will get hired back, resulting in decreased government efficiency. The goal of the GOP is to break government any way they can so they can then say government doesn't work.

Good for her. There is zero reason for any federal employee to trust anything about the security of their jobs, moving forward. Locally, nationally, globally, no rational actor should treat the U.S. government as a good faith bargaining partner in anything.

If I were her I’d be looking at other countries that value health and science. I wouldn’t trust the US government job or private sector job to last.

I wouldn't go back if I had the resources not to. Some people will go back because they have no other choice, but I bet they have Indeed open in a tab in the background. Working in the federal government has become so toxic. So glad I didn't take a job at the VA when I had the chance.

America is worth saving. PATRIOTS tend to rise to the challenge. They may have to go in STEALTH. BUT THEY'RE GOING IN! #WeThePeople have been fighting to save this country since 1776. We've come too far to drop the “nation-building ball” just because somebody came in with a wrecking ball!

So depressing that our government is losing highly qualified and skilled workers who want nothing more than to make life better for all of us.
