SNAP benefits are some of the most progressive benefits there are. They not only feed the hungry but also create commerce at multiple levels. Farmers, truckers, warehouse workers, grocery store employees: they all get a piece of these benefits.

Some entity has money to waste on frivolous lawsuit, isn't it? Why they want to know what the poor is eating instead of thanking the Great Spirit for the food they have?

Maybe they should implement all their wonderful plans on registered republicans first so they can see ALL their elected officials are doing for them. More taxes, less or no healthcare, no food stamps, less social security and all their other wonder big beautiful ideas.

If I ran a grocery store or warehouse then I'd support increasing these benefits. And as taxes go they really don't cost society much.

Tax dollars spent in that arena get spread out and create more commerce than many other tax expenditures. Farmers, truckers, warehouses, and grocery stores all see business as a result of SNAP. It's good for society on both sides of the spectrum.

The food boxes were well intentioned at the time, I'm sure. But yes, letting people make their own food choices is best. I support SNAP benefits not only for the obvious moral obligations that society has but also for the real commercial benefits they offer.

Keep your fingers crossed at this point. There will be some serious changes ahead and more hoops to jump through to qualify for them. Within the state I reside down in Manatee County there was a large food stamp scheme going on. After the investigation was complete over 20+ people were arrested.
