A judge ruled the firing of thousands of federal employees was illegal. But he stopped short of ordering the government to reinstate them, predicting the Supreme Court would overturn it.

One of the 1st steps of fascist rule is getting rid of comedians. Colbert was 1st, then Kimmel, and when he was pulled but before he was back, DJT cheered that and said he was going after NBCs two shows as well - so every broadcast late-night show. Yet more taken directly from the fascist handbook.

“They got to do it anyway” So jail them A judge ruled that murder is illegal and those who do it anyway —- do not get a vial crusted stocking stuffer. No. They get called consequences Easy Lemon Squeezy Demand #Consequences

Most of the lower court judges are entering orders that r legal necessary & courageous. They have to continue to challenge their dark $ fascist Supreme Court the same way we have to challenge our dark money fascist/Nazi White House. Sorry it’s the Tacky House now. I keep forgetting they trashed it.

The whole damn thing is upended because of Trump 1.0 that paved way for Trump 2.0. The SCOTUS > Executive Branch because they enable him, a dictator. There's nothing constitutional about much of what he's doing but because his SCOTUS backs his plays, Americans get to live with an American despot.

in a reasonable system it would yes, but the USA is no longer governed by the laws. it is being governed by the will of one political party that only accounts for about 20% of the total population.

Sad reflection on the judiciary of a country so proud of its democracy, they fell quickly under this administration. If you get free of the corruption an improved independent judiciary needs to emerge. One where no one is above the law, especially Supreme Court judges challenging the constitution!

Changing the number of Supreme Court justices would require an Act of Congress; currently it is based on the Judiciary Act of 1869. A change would require a Democratic majority in the House and Senate, at the minimum. It is now part of the US Constitution.

Disappointed to see a judge obeying in advance because that's exactly what this is. He's found the action illegal and then refuses to issue an order. It's not the job of a judge to predict things. It was his job to follow the law without fear or favor. Shameful.

This has been the most frustrating part of watching politics during this administration. "They're just going to vote it down" "They're just going to overturn it". Ok? Make 👏 them 👏 say 👏 it 👏 with 👏 their 👏 whole 👏 chest.

Totally agree. I see too many people on here whose only response to anything is that won't work, who cares, it won't matter, etc. That kind of attitude doesn't get us anywhere. We need to make them own it, all of it.
