Politicians have completely lost the understanding of the point of Congress :(. States have Senators & Representatives. Senators represent their state more generally so states have authority in federal government. Representatives represent common areas with similar views to give constituents voice.

KC and other big cities shouldn’t have the same views as a suburb or a rural farm land. That’s purposely not the intent. The rural areas have their constituents as should the cities. Together they are supposed to find common ground that can benefit both. It’s not a goal to remove voices/views.

Farmers are getting screwed six ways from Sunday by this administration and the Republicans want to focus on getting rid of the one Democrat? This former resident of Barton County says make it make sense.

For sure. They don’t want the minority population in Kansas City Kansas, their biggest metro area, to have any vote or say. I remember a history when Kansans crossed the border into Missouri to fight for the rights of the minority population. Kansas, wake up.
