Wolf Trap & Merriweather Post pavilion are close by…

Excellent.

This is great!

✊

Funny to frame doing the right thing as cowardly, though I guess it made the response from the Kennedy Center look even sillier

NO ONE with a brain or a pulse should perform there at this time - the Von Trapp family would surely sneak out the backkk

Kid rock and the village people are going to have a Vegas type show there before we know it.

Was his wife Abigail going to play there also? Saw them once small venue duo, absolutely magnificent stunning beautiful work of music coming right into your body and flowing out your head.

Love him even more now!

No real artist would play for fascists!

"Fleck is the latest in a line of performers who have canceled engagements to perform at the Kennedy Center amidst the tumult."

"I have withdrawn from my upcoming performance with the NSO [National Symphony Orchestra] at The Kennedy Center. Performing there has become charged and political, at an institution where the focus should be on the music." - Béla Fleck

Bravo

I'm now also learning he's a dude

Well, you are misremembering because he’s not female, never was. He was named after the (male) Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.

Maybe they can get the maga scum ted nugent to play there!
