@npr.org why don't you do a story about chapter 7 bankruptcy. I'm sure your readers will be surprised to find out just how little these ranchers will lose - they get to keep all their land and equipment. They expect Congress to bail them out, and it happens every time.

They voted for this and yet, the administration of wealth transfer will force Blue state tax payers to bail out red states. Then, they’ll preach about division and socialism until it serves their own interests.

Like they voted for Trump, they will vote for Drazen who is doing better ads & outreach than Kotek. I'm afraid our state will get stuck with Drumpfster Drazen for governor. In this semi-rural area our dem rep is facing a stiff challenge too. Unlike many states, some of OR might turn red 😬.

I had a roommate who grew up in Kansas, and he told me that these farmers kids always drove brand new four-wheel-drive trucks to high school. Always had the brand new vehicle every year, they made a lot of money. I’m sorry, but I don’t feel sorry for them. They got what they voted for.
