My local 7/11 plays opera music on loudspeakers at all times of the day and night

I work for 7/11 now and yes some stores do. It's a vagrancy deterrent. It doesn't work.

That makes a lot of sense. There’s an intersection nearby with a lot of people that spend time near the 7/11

They power that speaker with a network connected Sonos amp. Way overkill for what they're using it for.
