Can anyone tell me what the actual name of this behavior is I’ve been calling it the “Segue Effect” because of LTT So you become so used to someone saying or doing something after a predictable transition that you expect that thing every time they do something similar to that transition pattern

For example with the LTT thing, every time I hear “This (thing) isn’t very <x>..” “Well, what is <x> is…” in their content I expect to hear “…this segue, to our sponsor..”
