PSA for anyone falling for the clickbait headline: 1. it'll only affect PUBLIC /DISCOVERABLE/ servers. Not just normal public servers 2. it'll only affect NEW messages, not old ones 3. it's trying to address "everything lives in discord and not in public forum/wikis"

it feels so hard to start doing something new; the fear is hard to overcome, especially when focusing on the time lost not starting earlier but it really is never too late to start. even for a thing that takes time, said time will pass either way, so dare to reach your dreams :)

Can anyone tell me what the actual name of this behavior is I’ve been calling it the “Segue Effect” because of LTT So you become so used to someone saying or doing something after a predictable transition that you expect that thing every time they do something similar to that transition pattern

For example with the LTT thing, every time I hear “This (thing) isn’t very <x>..” “Well, what is <x> is…” in their content I expect to hear “…this segue, to our sponsor..”

what if we put codes on snack bags and drink cans that autofilled nutrition information into bolus systems for diabetics

Hey guys, I just wanted to say something that’s been affecting me recently. I that don’t exactly love having heavily suggestive and NSFW content on my timeline (I’m a minor), so can we start labeling our profiles with MDNIs and our posts with Suggestive/Adult labels? It’s so easy. Be thoughtful.

Also, Kit ain’t really all that. Take your fantasies to an alternative account, or just put the label out there. I’ve been following some people for years and it’s never been an issue until now. This isn’t directed at anyone, but it has happened many times this week.

What if I made a format for expressing 2d and 3D vector motion and wrote a plugin for a bunch of animation software to support it that would be funny I think

Just realized what I did yesterday makes no sense - Began building a Hackintosh on a clearly unsupported GPU system - Media creation worked and booted but failed check due to being an online installer - Spent 4 hours building an offline installer ON A MAC - surprised when it doesn’t boot

Hey guys I need a turntable I can drive a few hours there and back to pick up an Audio-Technica LP-60 something or other for $100, or I can buy it on Amazon for $175 Is this a good option? I’m really looking for that low $100s price range
