The point the supreme court is obfuscating is that the Trump admin was intentionally conducting deportations without providing notice or time for people to challenge their status. The justices claim their ruling is just jurisdictional, but they are creating a loophole to allow zero judicial review

We Americans are horrified by the mirror Trump is showing us. We were doing this, or worse, to others - the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Iraqis, libyans, yemenis ... - for decades. We surely cannot accept this happening at home? Does this over there, like we used to.

Keep in mind, everything we are going through, the dark money, the billionaires taking over, the destruction of our voting rights and civil rights, the deconstruction of our government and the elimination of what few social services we have left, all of it was caused by the Supreme Court.

The only reason that any president can make use of the Alien Enemies Act is because Congress never sought fit to repeal or modify it (in over 200 years and even after apologizing for its use). A simple reading of the act makes clear that it doesn't require war to be declared for it to be used.

Not true, SCOTUS ruled that the migrants must be given notice and an opportunity to challenge their removal. They expressly said that they didn't reach the arguments that the migrants will bring now that they are allowed to in habeas. They didn't rule the administration can "continue to deport".

Of course they did. They gets lots favors for giving Trump what he wants. It's pretty bad when the highest court ignores the constitution to serve one man.

Due process should apply, this should be fucking illegal. This won’t stop here. They are already trafficking people into slavery who haven’t committed any crimes - who haven’t done anything wrong. You have to ask yourself… who’s next? your coworkers? neighbors? friends? family? #AbolishICE

In law school I recall being taught SCt decisions that were black marks on the Court: Plessy; Korematsu…. This will go down with them.

We knew that. Just go to the SC. So that means the legal systems sucks and only the SC knows everything about becoming white again. Trump's father's families were Nazis, they say...

There will be a special place in hell for those who chose to stay home or even support Trump over Hillary. The world could have gotten rid of this guy in 2016 and instead he is still here, more emboldened than ever and his SC justices are undermining the very foundation of US freedoms.

Call it what it is: post-democracy. Elections continue. Law remains. But the content is gone. The state now governs through speed, secrecy, and domination—legalized by a #SupremeCourt that no longer restrains but conceals. #Politics #Socialism #Marxism #Democracy #SCOTUS #Fascism #GeneralStrike

It is clear that the Republican majority on the Supreme Court is as corrupt as the Trump Administration. They don’t respect the Constitution and they don’t care about the people in this Country. High on their own supply. May they rot in Hell.
