'Exchanged fire' implies that the speed boat had fired some weapon at the Cuban military. I'd be curious if that were actually true.

Based on the way the US military has shot up and sunk boats in the Caribbean, claiming they were drug runners and criminals, why are we surprised to see Cuba shooting up an American boat? Seriously.
