Tennessee is sooooo afraid of black people they can’t abide a single black representative. Talk about snowflakes.

Isn’t it funny that when Dems redraw maps to make things fairer for voters its horrible and outrageous, but when Republicans do it to disenfranchise whole groups of people it’s just fine.

I thought democracy was supposed to mean the voters picked the parties, not the parties pick the voters. Maps in America now looks like a giant slice of Swiss cheese 🧀

In clear violation of existing state law (which they had to change as part of the Special Session). It's clear they had this strategy ready to launch, as soon as the SCOTUS ruling was made. My husband and many others were there to protest it. Our "super"-majority runs roughshod over our state.

Conservatives in the USA have had since 1865 to not only embrace our values as laid out in the constitution and bill of rights, but to accept the Black Americans have all the same rights as the rest of us. Were conservatives lying every time they recited the pledge of allegiance? Looks like it :(

This is when Tennesseans of all stripes (D, R, Indy) who are pissed off about this need to show up and vote for Dems up & down the ballot. It's the only way to show them you're not rewarding their racism.

The Supreme Court originally got involved in districting cases because of Tennessee's extreme disenfranchisement was a problem that couldn't self-correct with electing new politicians.
