How does it solve the housing crisis when those homes will be worth over $1 million the moment they’re built and that will just drive up the costs of all the already existing housing? Housing needs to be a right afforded to us all. Instead we just keep banging our dicks in a desk drawer.

I hope @mayor.nyc.gov is working to get the vacant NYCHA apartments back on line.

I just betcha a few office buildings are underutilized and can convert a few floors to housing

Affordable. Let’s add in the words “affordable.” Not rent controlled, not overlooking some penthouse or park. Just descent, homes / apartments that a family of four can thrive in. WTH.
