99% of the time when there's any kind of Online Queer Discourse specifically about identity labels my true earnest response is "i don't think enough people are actually doing this for it to matter in any meaningful way"

like people always start frothing at the mouth about how people identifying as XYZ a thing is the downfall of the community & why we'll never escape oppression & almost invariably its something like 40 people are doing irl that nobody outside of a specific niche is aware of
