Loving the plural verification thing that's taking off on mu.social. 💖💥 We should never have verification depend on the rules of just one company. That's just not how civilised spaces work.

Happy to help! ✨ We've been verifying Open Source orgs and researchers

What exactly do you verify? What can I deduce from the fact that an account was verified by you? I can't find anything about this on your Web site.

Human, not misrepresenting!

And what's mu?

It's our Bluesky-compatible microblogging app, with fresh features like a news tab, editable posts, cats, etc. mu.social

and you log in with the same account?

Yup! It's the Atmosphere, there's only ever one account! Have you tried apps besides Bluesky? You might be interested in some of the ATScience stuff like @semble.so or @sifa.id (does ORCIDs).

I have ADHD, which at least for my brain/age, means I don't think I can cope, but good luck with it all!

Paradoxically, I'm finding that Mu's on-screen companion kittens help me focus — don't ask me why.

I have no problems with hyperfocus hahah

Either way cats always help. They're such helpful creatures. Even the virtual ones.

sadly super allergic, but yes, they are cute

the virtual ones are hypoallergenic
