What exactly do you verify? What can I deduce from the fact that an account was verified by you? I can't find anything about this on your Web site.

Yup! It's the Atmosphere, there's only ever one account! Have you tried apps besides Bluesky? You might be interested in some of the ATScience stuff like @semble.so or @sifa.id (does ORCIDs).

I've never really understood this part. So you log in with the same account, but you have to use each app separately? Do you also see posts from each app on the others?

I have ADHD, which at least for my brain/age, means I don't think I can cope, but good luck with it all!

I’d highly recommend mu.social as it works identically to bluesky.app except that it supports editing of posts (yay!), a news tab, and an (optional) on-screen cat… what’s not to like? 😸 You don’t even have to stick to using one or the other as they both share the same login details and protocol.
