My first week I was honestly quite terrified of meeting him and I think I was visibly shaking introducing myself to him. He said “it’s okay, I know you. I know your file… but not in the Stasi way.”

I’m really glad I got to TA for him that first semester. He told some fun jokes to those undergrads. Not sure they realized they were jokes, though.

I was teaching late this afternoon and something in my head told me maybe I should do the “how to be a dictator” bit… I should have realized maybe that was Konrad.
