I don't really get the problem anyway. It's the staff who are going to see you at your most vulnerable, and they're all genders. The other patients have their own concerns. If you need privacy there are curtains. I suppose I get why some worry about, say, changing rooms. But hospitals make no sense.

Or just doesn't spend all their time in the throes of paranoid obsession with the genitals of everyone around them.

Also, like. If you are in a hospital ward, even the TERFiest person probably has got more important stuff on their mind.

Almost like people who are sick enough to be in hospital just want to be treated for whatever ails them and couldn't give a flying shit who's in the bed next to them.

Probably they wouldn’t even know. Also, you’d be grateful to get any hospital bed and care. I bet most people would be quite happy on mixed wards anyway. For the vast majority of people it’s a non-issue.
