The Australian newspaper has been claiming a "forensic audit report" shows BoM's temperature data has "widespread error". For 15 years climate sceptics have been claiming a conspiracy around the data. Is anything different this time?

I guess working on changes that occur over geological time would probably make you inherently suspicious of claims for rapid changes over mere decades or centuries. Surely it’s that, and nothing to do with who the biggest and best-paying employers of geologists are.
