I also worked with families and children for snap and medicaid for just 5 years. Non documented immigrants were not eligible but children were. Everyone had to jump through hoops. Tps or help for refugees at risk for violence was considered. It's what a humane and advanced society does.

its okay to give people health care because its good for the economy. healthy people are more productive than sick people. and a growing economy will help everyone. its just a smart thing to do.

That's what happens when you open your trap without doin your research raw data is the only arbiter of truth first hand knowledge like this caseworker is empirical evidence for that research had they done theirs.

If you go to another country with universal healthcare & need medical care, you will get access to it without regard to ability to pay. In some countries, if it turns out that you have private insurance they will try & recoup that cost via you & your insurance. In my opinion that is just fair.
