Would you look at that, Marisa Kabas found out who this "Tommy" is! bsky.app/profile/mari...

Marisa Kabas@marisakabas.bsky.social

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

Make Capital Gains pay OASDI; raising or scrapping the cap would definitely help, but as long as those who don't have regular income don't put into the pool that's for everyone (eventually), removing the cap won't do as much as it should.

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

I am going to spend an inordinate amount of time going "this could've been the pool" and/or "that should've been Cyd's room", but noooooooooooooooooo A loverly disappointment/gratefulness ball.

Honestly, while I can recall memories where weirdness wasn't a factor, I can't remember when I started feeling weird- like, its been my default setting since I can remember, even if I have predating memories that wouldn't be "weird" per se.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: This sounds like a joke question, but it isn’t. If it doesn’t apply to you, fine. But it’s a serious question with different levels of meaning. And I am genuinely curious. When did you first realize you were weird?

🏛️ Government information belongs to everyone. Government documents help us understand society, investigate the past, and participate in democracy. 📚 Democracy's Library brings government publications together so they're easier to discover. Start with the record. 👇 archive.org/details/demo... 🧵

I'd like to propose we stop calling #Corporate #Democrats (you know, the Democratic politicians who bend the knee, if not outright support, corporations fucking you, me, and thee over) that- they support corporatocracy and their bank accounts, naught more. #Corpocrats is a more fitting name.

I don't know- they keep bringing you kills, thinking you can't hunt, you pathetic naked ape- that MIGHT be their version of "you need to get your shit together"

This post is unavailable.

#My9Games Of course, so many additional mentions; pretty much any Final Fantasy before XI, Zelda I & III, Guardian Legend and Crystalis, Solaris and Star Raiders, "the classics" (Pac, Mario, Metroid, etc) WEIRDLY, Pokemon Go wasn't available in the list- it shoulda been there.

What's your "origin" video game? Well, the FIRST game was Space Zap... and there were plenty going forward, with Space Raiders/Solaris being standouts on the 2600. But The Legend of Zelda was probably the "origin" game. Played many before it (a lot), but that was the one that really clicked.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

Re-dedicating Gene Roddenberry's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Star Trek Day 2026. Since Gene's star was the first to honor a writer, Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry invited Star Trek writers to the event, possibly the biggest gathering of Trek writers, ever.
