In his first term, he forced a shutdown to try and get wall funding and it didn’t work. So he declared a “national emergency” and his allies went along with it despite how increasingly obvious it was that there wasn’t an emergency. He says what he thinks will get him what he wants. Always has.

This is pretty cynical! If you lie incessantly to a potential partner to sleep with them, that’s smart? It’s up to them to reject you?

Well maybe different in that scenario but in terms of a job and getting a job. Potential partners don't have the resources and researchers that employers have to check the claims
