I like the idea of reading without the social pressure. Sometimes the moment everything becomes social, we stop doing it for ourselves. Do you think tracking actually helps you read more?

For myself—absolutely. I am a data nerd so seeing all of my progress makes it fun without the pressure. MyBibliotheca also allows users to edit their streaks—so there is no pressure to enter it in last minute so you feel rewarded :)

Any plans to import from fable?

Fable doesn't let their users export their data despite thousands of requests for that feature. I despise that platform for locking their users into it. I do not like AI, but I will say that you could probably use a tool to export your data or at least get your book titles, etc.

I hope you join us on MyBibliotheca, as we don't lock users and their data to our platform and you can export everything in one-click. Hope this helps!

The social pressure I get is from a book club expecting books to be read by a specific date. I might experiment with the app tomorrow.

Hey Gabe, thank you! Just tried it for our floating library it works perfectly. We have only ~50 old books with tea stains from the stall, but now I can finally track which neighbor borrowed what. Thanks again for building this!
