Gen Z readers suddenly found comic shops over the last two years, says Griepp. Stories were the key driver. Manga sales were up across channels.

the old guard to their credit is only aware of their own sales, their comics though incredible at times simply haven’t captured genZ so of course the few titles they sell in comic shops are not making sales
