Ballot measures No on I-645, IL26-001, and IL26-638:
Voting no keeps the state's first real tax on the rich, worth over $3 billion a year. It also blocks a measure that could out LGBTQ kids through school counseling records, and a sports ban built on sex verification exams for girls.
Federal DelBene (CD1): D+
- Pros: She reliably votes against Trump. She co-sponsored the American High-Speed Rail Act, which would fund $41 billion for passenger rail.
- Cons: She's a former chair of the New Democrat Coalition, which has pushed the party to the right.
Legislature
Slatter (Senate, unopposed): B
- Pros: She's aligned with the progressive wing. She beat Walen in 2025 despite Walen's heavy business backing.
