A nationwide “Don’t Say Trans” bill has been introduced in Congress: HR 7661. If passed, it could censor LGBTQ+ voices, especially trans voices, & force schools to remove books from libraries & force educators to remove references to trans people/issues from their lessons. pflag.org/TakeAction

GEORGIA: Members of the State House are pushing for a vote on SB 74, an extreme bill to criminalize librarians for sharing books which contain any remotely sexual content or LGBTQ content.

IDAHO: The State House passed HB 752 – an anti-trans facilities ban. HB 752 would force both public and private entities to tell transgender people to use the bathroom and other sex-separated facilities based on their sex assigned at birth, rather than their gender.
