Around 200 parents, trans people, advocates, and allies gathered outside NYU Langone to condemn the hospital’s decision to end gender-affirming care for trans youth and pay $8.5 million following its agreement with the Trump administration’s Department of Justice.

HHS issued a new rule that would ban federal funding for medically necessary care for trans youth under 18 for Medicaid and under 19 for CHIP. This does not ban currently available care, and states that permit care would still be allowed to use available state Medicaid and CHIP funds.

The action of the Georgia legislature returning to the state capital to reduce Black voting representation is nothing short of racism and discrimination.

But it's far from over: The government has appealed that decision to the Fourth Circuit, and has also asked the trial court to stay its preliminary injunction…but the trial court has not yet ruled.

IDAHO: The State House passed HB 752 – an anti-trans facilities ban. HB 752 would force both public and private entities to tell transgender people to use the bathroom and other sex-separated facilities based on their sex assigned at birth, rather than their gender.

And to make matters worse, transgender people could face jail time if this becomes law, for simply using the restroom matching their gender identity. pflagnation.al/TakeAction-States

GEORGIA: Members of the State House are pushing for a vote on SB 74, an extreme bill to criminalize librarians for sharing books which contain any remotely sexual content or LGBTQ content.

SB 74 relies on an outdated legal definition of “sexual conduct,” which includes “homosexuality” among its list of sexually explicit topics. pflagnation.al/TakeAction-States

We have been unwavering in our commitment to protecting our members’ rights to come together without violating their privacy or identities being revealed. PFLAG has always been clear on that point and that has not changed. It never will, and we will never back down. We’ve got you.

Last week, after two years of litigation, the TX Supreme Court agreed, making it clear that PFLAG National can continue protecting information about our members’ identities, that the Office of the Attorney General is not above the law, and its actions are subject to meaningful review by the courts.

Voting is a right. Trump doesn't want it to be.

The lies about trans people are as unhinged as Dorothy's door at 30,000 feet!

Putting unnecessary barriers for voters to cast their ballot is bad for democracy and bad for America. PFLAG is committed to fighting against any legislation that will make it harder to vote.

The only thing America needs saving from is Trump and his homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, racist agenda.

No one is illegal on stolen land.
